The Health service "Caritas-SPb" comes to the aid of those who need care and who provide care. Training on the basis of DIPI №1 continues. A training plan has been drawn up and classes are held for the secondary medical staff of the institution. When conducting classes, special attention is paid to preventive care for patients, support their activity and independence. Secondary diseases for the patient are very undesirable and painful, and additional difficulties are created for the caregiver. But the danger of secondary diseases can be prevented with organization of competent care. So, the lesson was devoted to the prevention of bedsores and pneumonia. Each of the participants could play the role of a patient and a caregiver.

Our team dedicated the second relaxation journey with a support group of HIV + women to A. S. Pushkin. We were in Suida, walked around "Lukomorya", visited the Museum-estate of Abram Hannibal and the house of Pushkin's nanny. We enjoyed a sunny and warm day. And the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Suida and joint prayer became a worthy completion of our trip.

At the request of our longtime partners from the Social services complex center of the Kirovsky district of St. Petersburg, the lecture on the topic "Prevention of exacerbations of chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system" was held for the elderly on the basis of the Center, at the address: 29 Baltiyskaya str., the 6th of November. Galina Fomina, nurse of the Health service "Caritas Saint-Petersburg", was a lecturer. It has been said that lifestyle, personal hygiene, hygiene of premises and proper nutrition are of great importance for the prevention of this disease . Breathing exercises for the prevention of exacerbations were also shown. Participants repeated these exercises with great enthusiasm. After the lecture, the nurse answered all the questions that worried the elderly.
| The resource center for women and families with children in difficult life situations
A little bit from the life of our Center.
In addition to the daily consultations of specialists (a psychologist, a social work specialist, a nurse) and planned work with families who are accompanied by specialists of the Center, we hold open events for everyone who needs our help. Regularly, on Fridays, in our game space "Game room", there are classes for parents and children, the purpose of which is to gain experience of developing relations between parent and child. Here is a small review about the classes: "Classes in the "game room" group help me and my daughter a lot. It was helpful for me as the mother to see from the outside how my child changes during the game. It was very hard to play with her by her rules or desires, whether at home or on the street. And in this safe space, we learned and adapted together. Sometimes I looked from the outside at the reaction of psychologists and learnt how to interact with my child at the time of her next hysterics. It is also very interesting to observe the dynamics of changes that have occurred for the past two years. Another important moment is the fact that my daughter loves to go to the game, no matter how far it is (we get an hour and a half). Therefore, we are very grateful to everyone who gives us this opportunity!"

Our project was visited by Julia Shulus, national coordinator of the national charitable program "Health Service of Caritas in Russia", and Olga Krivenko, nurse, from the city of Novosibirsk. The terms of visit included consultation of the employees of the health service in St. Petersburg, discussion on prospects of development of the program, meeting with the partners. The main purpose of the visit was to participate in the conference "Topical issues of assistance to patients with acute cerebral circulation disorders in the conditions of the regional vascular center ". The conference was dedicated to the world stroke control day and organized by the Union of rehabilitation of Russia, Pavlov Med. University and held on the basis of the city hospital № at 26, Kosciuszko street.

Evgenia Kolpakova, manager of the project 'Resource and Information Center Caritas' and the project 'Professional Volunteers', participated in the meeting with the Center for family and children of the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg the 18th of October. Aspects of assistance to the family in a crisis situation with the problem of chemical dependence were discussed.
Practical cases of solving certain problems were presented. The importance of cooperation between the Center and the Caritas St. Petersburg was stressed. Also participants talked about the importance of preventing burnout of specialists and improvement of professional skills, a consolidated approach when working with beneficiaries.
