Giving is Gaining!
Today you can often meet people on the streets of our city who are involved in opinion polls. One of their questions: "What do you think is the most beautiful word in Russian?" Many people answer "lyubov" ("love"),"svoboda" ("freedom"),"semya" ("family"), "rodina" ("homeland"). But the overwhelming number of the interviewed responds that the most beautiful word in the Russian language is "SPASIBO" ("THANK YOU").
People often do not realize the meaning of this old word, which is in Russian essentially a theological word, because it means "May God save you!" That is, when we tell someone a "Spasibo", we unconsciously wish him the best in life - the Salvation of God. "Salvation" includes luck, self-realization, fullness of life, love, goodness, justice, generosity, understanding, and trust.
Not only poor people, but each of us needs happiness, goodness, love and other God’s graces, and who among us can give that all to the people living next to us?
We thank you for your kindness, compassion and solidarity with us and tell you "Spasibo", thus we ask God that He gives you everything that involves the salvation of the world.
