Condolences of Archbishop Pavel Pezzi with regard to the tragedy in Kemerovo
Today, when the hearts of all people express their deepest sorrow due to the tragedy that occurred in Kemerovo the 25th of March, I would like to express my condolences to those who lost their loved ones, their friends and families. I ask all our faithful to join me in praying for the repose of the dead, for the healing of the victims, for the comfort and support of their relatives and friends, for the help of God for all who have the responsibility to prevent the recurrence of such a terrible disaster.
Eternal rest grant unto the dead, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. Rest in peace. Amen.

"The House of Hope on the Mountain" thanks Natalia Pevtsova, a director of "Caritas SPb", and Liliya Guseva, a program manager of the Center for social assistance in the town of Tikhvin, for a great assistance in the implementation of the project "Social support and rehabilitation of alcohol-dependent and their families in the 'The House of Hope on the Mountain'". The project is implemented using the grant of the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Fund of presidential grants.

The 4th seminar on social management for managers of Caritas SPb charity projects has been conducted by Anna Yakovleva today. Anna Yakovleva is a specialist in sociology for NPOs and a consultant. This time we have talked about the promotion of a social project. Our training was divided into two blocks: theoretical unit (4 hours) and practical unit (2 hours).

The fond of food "Russia" pleased us again. We received canned vegetables "Bonduel" and we distributed them between projects' wards and cooking.

| Resource center for women and families with children
The lesson "Knowledge of emotions" was held the 11th of February. Despite the fact that many participants came, the presenters were able to create a friendly and creative atmosphere. It is a pity that not everyone could get to class. Typically a joint activity of our events begins with an introduction and active fun games for all participants. We moved a lot: we were atoms, molecules, came up with different movements, walk kingly like a lion! During the second part of the lesson, we played pantomime, inflated imaginary balloons and found colors for different flavors!
| The Bishop Maletsky center of support for young disabled persons
Shrovetide was celebrated in The Bishop Maletsky House the 13th of February! Shrovetide is a wonderful, funny and bright holiday! Shrovetide pancakes symbolize the Sun. There were workshops in the program. We did enough suns to make the world bright and warm!!! There were games, dances and, of course, a cooking pancake master class. Ilya, Tatiana and Sergey shared their ability to wrap the pancakes in different ways with our friends - Elena, Ludmila and Marayke. The fillings were delicious, especially bananas with chocolate!))) Rolls, "envelopes", triangles decorated a festive table!
13.02.2018 | Inclusion of young people with special needs in labour activity
The wards of the needlework studio organized another master class in A. I. Herzen library the 12th of February. Our teachers Nikita, Sergey, Andrei and Fedor trained 18 learners who had come to the library to learn how to make bracelets of the leather.
The lesson lasted 1.5 hours. Each participant mastered step-by-step the techniques of making bracelets from leather and created a beautiful thing on own taste and style under the guidance of experienced teachers from The Bishop Maletsky House.

Human needs human. Or why you can come to a social work specialist.
People often believe that asking for help is a shame, and for free especially.
I always suggest coming to a specialist to look at the situation from different angles. Whether it be the issue of homelessness, addiction or abuse in the family. As long as you sit in your house, the situation may seem disastrous and hopeless.
But together we can outline a plan of taking-off after the first reception 
:
- find options for legal charitable assistance if necessary;
- find a self-help community on various dependencies and co-dependencies;
— to think over the job;
