17.01.2019 | The Bishop Maletsky Center of Support for Young Disabled Persons
We shared our impressions about the rest when we met after the winter holidays! Nikita, for example, was visiting Christmas markets almost daily and won a large number of packages of different types of flour there. He brought them to the Center. We will use them at the Culinary Studio! And Ilya became the owner of a real Christmas tree sending his poem about a cat to the competition of "Our Radio"! The main event was the return of our Masha from a long journey!!!!
The Bishop Maletsky House was filled with Angels and ideas when she arrived! And we began to master the recipe of cheese sticks and the smell of fresh pastries gathered us for an evening tea party!
Denis wrote the "page of history" and remembered all the German volunteers who had worked in our House. He didn't forget anyone!!!! 10 years have passed!
Classes began in our workshops. Every morning we are pleased with the snow. It is a magical time of year. And our creative works are dedicated to winter.

27.12.2018 | The children’s center “Ostrovok”
It has become a tradition for the children from "Ostrovok" to visit the guys from the Bishop Maletsky House.
It is always informative, fun and delicious! This time, our older friends have held workshops on making Christmas wreaths, cooking pizza and printing canvas bags for the children from "Ostrovok".

Our "Blue light" in the "Christmas" style of Mikhail Aldashin went away! The guys have been preparing for it for six months and we are a little sad now....but there will be many holidays and fun in the future!

The lesson for employees of the "Complex social services center for the population of the Central district" was held the 26th of December 2018. It was dedicated to the rehabilitation of patients that survived stroke.

21.12.2018 | Support of persons caring for patients at home and in hospitals
A group of employees of the Social Services Center of the Central District continued training on the basics of care for bedridden patients the 19th of December 2018.
The topic: "Stroke. Prevention and care".
Participants learned about the types, signs, causes of stroke, principles and purposes of therapy, trained in first aid for stroke, in feeding the patient with swallowing disorders.
The Bobat concept of care was a new thing for them . The seminar participants practiced the skills of moving a patient, changing position in bed, learned about the features of washing a patient, changing underwear, trained in proper treatment of a patient's shoulder and arm.

A. V. Kramushenko, manager of the project "Support of Caregivers at home and in hospitals", participated in the seminar "Interagency Cooperation and Cooperation of Institutions and Social Spheres" the 12th of December. The organizer of the seminar is a professional regional public organization "Medical Workers of St. Petersburg". The seminar was held on the basis of city hospital № 26. The seminar was dedicated to the interaction and cooperation of health care institutions, social sphere and public organizations. There was an exchange of experience and information with partners from state and public organizations during the seminar.
A.V. Kramushenko presented a report on the topic "The Experience of Learning to Care for the Sick at Home and in Hospitals".

What can cause pride of the director of Caritas St. Petersburg?
This is when former small members of Caritas, who were lovingly taken care of, become grown men and feel the need to give joy and help other people.
Alexander Bannikov organized a big feast for our wards in the Maletsky House. He is our little " drummer" from the children's ensemble "Zhaleyka", who, together with the Caritas of St. Petersburg, participated in concerts of gratitude and impressed the people of Germany playing on wood, pots and saw!
Today, Sasha is a grown man, an succeed musician, a drummer of the cover band "Cosmodrome". And yesterday, he gave a New year rock concert together with the guys from his band in the Maletsky House! Everything was real!!! There was a drum kit, guitars, light music and cool speakers!
It was heard all over the building!
We danced and sang, and at the end, sat down at the drums ourselves!
We are very grateful to the band team - Alexander, Dmitry, Denis and Ilya, for this fantastic gift and wish them great success and great concerts! And wait them again!
17.12.2018 | Support of persons caring for patients at home and in hospitals
The volunteers of the Center of innovative social services "Partnership for Every Child", caring for patients with severe multiple disorders at home, gathered in the Center of the Health Service Caritas the 15th of December. Many of them are faced with the problems of care for bedridden patients for the first time. The training on the basics of care for bedridden patients was organized for them. The lesson was about the features of hygienic care, feeding, including with the help of a probe.
