Young friends from Sunday school of the Theodore icon of the mother of God Orthodox Cathedral came to our grandmathers. And it was a holiday! And it was a joy! And also it was a hope! The grannies watched the play dedicated to Christmas (little actors played very well!), together with the children sang and had fun, exchanged gifts and, most importantly, talked a lot and cuddled! For our grandparents is particularly important as many of them do not have a family, and deprived of communication with grandchildren.
Thanks to the head of the Sunday school Lyudmila Golubkova for the holiday and talented guys!
| The help to HIV-infected people in Spb
The art therapy classes for women discharged from hospital and attending a support group "Meet" were organized by an art therapist Natalia Ilyin at the end of December 2016.
Natalia organized trainings in the technique of association and collage, that allowed the women to release their emotions, to understand fears and concerns and trust them to the God. The atmosphere of the classes was conducive to openness and desire for change.
The realization that you're not excluded from society, you're adopted and loved was very important. There were tears and laughter, that brought relief and joy! The lessons were held in one of the living House of the clergy in the Theodore Cathedral. The women were very grateful to Natalia Ilina and expressed desire to meet her again.

As always, our wards went to Christmas service, and then magically appeared Father Christmas and gave presents to our dear elderly people.

So our new year's celebration took place!
We waited for it with great excitement!
For the first time the holiday was in hands of our wonderful guys! Our real, true elves organized a quest for the guests. There were three rooms full of mystery, magic, music and silence! Faces of our guys were simply glowing with joy and happiness!!!
The wizards coped with this task perfectly!

What marvelous teachers work with us in "Caritas St. Petersburg"!
People correctly say: like teacher, like pupil!!! Meet Egle Sienite, our teacher and her gentle work, as gentle as she is.
Why do the guys from the Bishop Maletsky House become winners of various competitions of drawings? The answer is simple: our Egle is the best teacher!!! And now in the Academy of arts there is an exhibition of her works!

All the week a hard work boils in our Center. We are preparing for the celebration of Christmas and New year! There is very little time and we have already prepared goods for the Fair at the lessons in our studios, now we are working on the scenery for the play, and, of course, are participating in the most delicious and funniest studio "Cooking"!

This week in our Centre is full of events!
A few days ago our "Stars" visited the children's Center Caritas in Luga and held a master class of theatre arts for children, and even gave a small concert with songs, poems, dances.
Of course, every day we worked in the workshops, preparing for the Christmas and New year. Also we visited the Zoological Museum and the cinema "Moscow" , watched a good movie "Moana ". The guys liked it!
06.12.2016 | The help to HIV-infected people in Saint Petersburg
This autumn gave two snowy trips to our project.
The first one is a trip with a support group "Olivia" to the Thais after the first snow. And the second one is a pilgrimage and excursion trip with the doctors of the Botkin hospital in Võra and Rozhdestveno. We visited the "Museum of stationmasterr", the Christmas Church and walked from the manor Park to the red caves and the wellspring.
It was beautiful and incredibly soulful. Everybody was very happy.

The second of December, on Friday, we were at the children's interactive exhibition "colors of childhood" #краскидетства2016 in the creative space "Weavers". It is a creative space in which you want to create, to draw, to sculpt, to paint, to transform... You can feel the atmosphere of celebration and freedom. The guys had a good time!
