New Year, Christmas and Grandfather Frost in “Ostrovok” (“Little Island”)

The 6^th of January was a long awaited day for the children of the Social Youth Club "Ostrovok". On this day a celebration was held that combined as Christmas and New Year as gifts from Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden.

The children also prepared a gift: they showed a performance "Saving the New Year", which they had rehearsed for almost 2 months. Under the leadership of Yekaterina Novak, the children from the theater group wrote a scenario by themselves, made decorations, selected music, and wrote songs. They presented that all to the intrigued viewers. The audience consisted of other children, staff members of the Club "Ostrovok" as well as parents and grandparents of our actors.

After the performance, Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden came with gifts and fun contests. In conclusion there was a Pepsi-drinking with refreshments.

And then the children did not want to leave "Ostrovok" for a long time - everyone wanted to open his gift and to look at the gifts received by their friends.
