Memorial Day 2012

Dear Friends,

17 March, 2012, marks the 11th Memorial Day since the death of the founder of Caritas St. Petersburg, Monsignor Hartmut Kania, who dedicated all his life to serving the church and people.
Father Hartmut gave all his energy to serving people in need. He died very early and did not have enough time to realize much of what he planned. But the light of his love lives in every one of us, the people who knew him and worked with him. We will strive to accomplish or to give life to everything what he dreamt of.
There is no day on which we do not remember Father Hartmut. In our prayer we turn to him and ask him for intercession.

This year, like every 11 years after Rev. Hartmut Kania passed away, we gather together in the house that bears his name to commemorate him and to celebrate a divine worship together.
The Mass will take place on 03.17.2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rabinovaya Ulitsa 18.

 Dear friends, if you cannot come to St. Petersburg and do not participate in the worship, we invite you to join us in prayer.
