Story of a Life

Her life could possibly serve as an example to some young and healthy people, who complain about their difficult lives, cannot find any job and want to get everything at once.

Olga Alekseyevna Panchenko is 75 years old; she has a moderate level of disability. All her life is permeated with light of art. She was always glad to make happy her loved ones. This desire helped her to overcome many difficulties in life.

After graduating a University and till 1973, Olga Alekseyevna worked as a construction engineer. After her illness, she was qualified for a moderate degree of disability. She was no longer able to pursue her career and decided to attend a free hairdressing course for beginners. After some time and much practice, she was able to establish her own courses.

Despite her illness she always wanted to live and to create something. She is able to make her customers younger and more beautiful within a short time.

She followed her desire to create beauty and share it with others, and wrote first hairdressers’ handbooks in St. Petersburg. She was also able to find a publisher. Now, although she sometimes feels so bad that she is no longer able to cook for herself, she can remember the past years and feel confident that her life has not been useless, for her knowledge and her love for hairdressing live in her students.
